My Weight Loss Journey 19th January 2019

Started with my weight loss plan 7 days ago, decided to give myself a final push and a closure for myself before my 31st birthday. My weight has been going up steadily since I started working back in 2011 when I was fluctuating around 89-92 kilos until recently when I weighted myself I was at a whopping 109 kilos. I have known that my weight is up and I shy away from the camera from a long time.

My work has taken me to a lot of places and I ate a lot of good food, there're times when I feel like I have overly indulge myself in the richness of food. I had realize my energy level had got down and far from what I used to have, I'm feeling lethargic, mood swings and loss interest in a lot of things that I used to enjoy.

Is time to quit fooling around, and get serious with myself.

For the past 6 days, I swam and jog in the morning and evening for 30 minutes each, I took care of what I ate, trying to do intermittent fasting but I didn't push through the 18 hours mark. Had black coffee and boiled eggs in the morning, lunch will go for mixed rice with balance vegetables and meat cutting down on the rice, dinner I usually skip or I had some Yoghurt or biscuits just to get my attention away from the hunger.

Weight had gone down fast from the initial 109 to 104 kilos. I'm on day 7 right now, and the weight doesn't seem to be coming down as fast, I'm back on site for work, good thing I'm in Penang staying in a nice hotel with proper gym facilities, I ate omelet in the morning without cheese, I go with a clove of butter in my black coffee, and carry on my work until noon 12:00 hours before we break for lunch, I try to do a healthy balance diet looking for mixed rice but choice are quite limited, so I switched to chicken rice sometimes, it was so hard to resist the temptation of rice and noodle but I somehow manage it. I off work at about 1900 hours where I would went back to the hotel either jog or weight exercise, I tried HIIT following a youtube video for the first time yesterday, it was brutal I couldn't complete most of the exercise exactly at the set time like the trainer but I push through it and preserve the whole 20 minutes, afterwards a nice shower and went out for dinner, dinner option I go for wonton soup and that's it.

I hope to see better results tomorrow.
